Introduction to Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti

Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam Coaching (NVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It was established in 1985 to provide quality education to talented children predominantly from rural areas. 

It operates a system of schools known as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across the country. These schools provide free residential education to the students from Class VI to XII. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti was established in 1985 by the Government of India to provide quality education to rural and underprivileged children. The Samiti also runs the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) which is conducted across the country for students in classes IX and X, to select students for higher studies. 

The Samiti has also launched various initiatives such as the National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE), National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) and National Talent Search Scholarship (NTSS) to identify and nurture talented students from rural backgrounds. The Samiti also takes part in various national and international education conferences, seminars and workshops to promote the cause of quality education in the country.

Educational System of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti

Coaching Center For Navodaya Vidyalaya, or NVS, is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established in 1985 and operates under the Ministry of Education with the aim of providing quality education to the children of the rural and far-flung areas of the country. NVS operates under a centralized system of education, which provides for two different levels of education - Primary and Secondary.

Primary education in NVS is provided at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, or JNVs, which are spread across the country. JNV Selection Test

Navodaya Vidyalaya Coaching (NVS) conducts an All India level selection test for admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). The selection test is conducted for students of classes VI and IX for admission into the JNVs for the academic year 2021-22.

The selection test is conducted in two stages. The first stage is a written test which is conducted at various centres, across the country. This test is conducted in English, Hindi and the regional language as specified by the state in which the applicant resides. The written test consists of questions from Mathematics, Science, Social Science and General Knowledge. The second stage is an interview and Viva-voce which consists of questions from General Awareness, General English, Regional Language, Mathematics and Science.

The selection of the students is based on their performance in the written test and the interview. The candidates who qualify in the written test are eligible to appear for the interview. The final selection of the candidates is based on the combined performance in the written test and the interview.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is a reputed organization that works to provide quality education to students across India. The NVS is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and is administered by the NVS. The scholarships are provided for a period of three years. The scholarships are provided in the form of tuition fees, book allowance, and maintenance allowance.
